City of Trenton Trash Service

The City of Trenton is contracting Nooga Waste for pickup and as usual pickups will be every Wednesday. The City will be supplying all city residents with one trash can to be used for trash pick-up. Nooga Waste will pick up only certified cans can per house. put at the road facing the road with the lid closed and clear of obstructions (no extra bags sitting next to it or on top of it.) (Household trash only. No furniture, appliances, electronics etc.)
(Subject to change) An additional trash can is available for $20 per month, or residents may obtain a $15 permit (sticker) to use their own approved trash can. If using a personal trash can, it must meet the following requirements: 96-gallon capacity, a maximum weight of 300 pounds, and rounded corners to accommodate the truck’s clamp system.
Help keep solid waste and recycling pick-up safe and efficient! When setting out your cans for pick-up, make sure:
1. The lid is closed
2. The lid opening faces the street
3. There is no other trash on top of or around the can
4. There is at least 3’ between the cans and any other obstructions
5. Trash is bagged (Household trash only.)
(Nooga Waste will not pick up furniture, appliances, electronics, etc.)
The solid waste provider will not pick-up any additional trash outside of the containers. If you are regularly exceeding the amount of trash that will fit in one can, you may contract City Hall at 706-657-4167 for a monthly rental of a second trash can for a reasonable price.
